Beerbee Mungnari is an Australian aboriginal artist born on Waterloo Station in 1931. He was a stockman and drover. He grew up in Rosewood . After retiring from stock work, he lived at Wyndham then at Turkey Creek where he taught at a school, where he started painting in 1982, learning from Jack Brittan He has six children, two of them also artists, and a wife. He then lived at Frog Hollow Creek with friends Jack Britten and Henry Wambini, who have died. He now spends most of his time at Frog Hollow and in Kununurra.
